Presenting Data masterclass: March 26th 2009 (Leicester)

The hugely popular training event on Presenting Data, run in conjunction with Intelligence East Midlands, will run again on March 26th at the National Space Centre in Leicester. Further details will follow soon but reserve your place now by emailing the Coordinator.

Learning from experience, looking to the future: Local Information Systems Network event, January 29th 2009 (Birmingham)

This networking event will:
• Showcase new research and tools to support LIS, including tools for developing and assessing the value of LIS
• Provide an opportunity for LIS to share their ideas, expertise and learning
• Explore next steps for the network in the context of current and emerging opportunities

Regional Observatories

Observatories have been developed in the English regions to support regional policy making through the provision of high quality information and analysis.  Observatories work closely with regional bodies such as Regional Development Agencies, Regional Assemblies and Government Offices in the region to maximise the quality and accessibility of the evidence base available to support policy making and service delivery.  More...
