If you are a teacher, student, parent, home-user or artist looking for practical and inspirational visual arts resources, AccessArt is the site for you. Created by artists, our resources are packed full of ideas, inspiration and techniques which can be used at home, in school and in the community.

AccessArt Family Learning Project

AccessArt now provides many ways in which you can find inspiration! To help you navigate round the site, we'd like to tell you about the main ways of using AccessArt:

• Read our Visual Arts Teaching and Learning blog. Be inspired by thought provoking ideas and leave your comments. If you'd like our conversations delivered to your email, just sign up at the blog.
• Enjoy our visual arts online workshops. Search via the drop down list on the left of each page. Workshops are aimed at adults and children and are free to access. They make for an engaging way to learn new skills and approaches, and cover drawing, sculpture, photography, colour, teenage creativity and installation art, as well as our How to... series
• Want printable resources? Most of our online workshops are accompanied by printable worksheets or downloadable pdf's. Just visit the individual online workshops and you'll find the worksheets/printouts.
• Register as a member of AccessArt, and receive email notification of our latest workshops, news and opportunities. Free of charge.
• Have a making or teaching problem you need help with? Post a question on the AccessArt Forum.
• Have a comment, suggestion or want to register your interest in a project? Email AccessArt.

AccessArt was established in 1999 by Paula Briggs and Sheila Ceccarelli, graduates of the Royal College of Art Sculpture School.
